Terms of Service
MomentX is an independent product run by a solo operator. By creating an account you agree to what follows. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Reach us any time at hola@momentx.pro or on X at @_MomentX_.
What MomentX does
MomentX reads the public activity of the X account you connect, analyzes how it performs, and produces drafts, suggestions and analytics for you. It is a writing and analysis tool. It is not a guarantee of growth, reach, revenue or any other result.
We never post for you
MomentX does not publish to X on your behalf, on any plan. Every post and reply opens the X composer with the text prefilled, and you send it yourself. You are responsible for everything you publish, including anything that started as a MomentX draft. Read it before you send it.
Your X account
You connect your X account through OAuth. We never receive or store your X password. You can revoke our access at any time from x.com under Settings, Security and account access, Connected apps. Revoking access stops the service from working.
You remain bound by X's own terms. You are responsible for making sure the way you use MomentX complies with them. MomentX is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp.
Trial and payment
- Both plans start with a 5 day free trial and a valid card is required to start it.
- The trial is one per person, ever. If you cancel and come back later, the plan you pick bills immediately: the free days were already used.
- Cancel before the trial ends and you are not charged.
- After the trial, the plan you picked bills monthly: Solo $29 for one X account, Studio $79 for three.
- Cancel any time from Billing (Manage billing opens our payment processor's portal). Your access continues until the end of the period you already paid for.
- Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
- Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax that may apply where you live.
Refunds
The trial exists so you can decide before paying anything. Outside of that, monthly charges are not refundable for time already elapsed. If something on our side broke and you paid for a service you could not use, write to us and we will sort it out.
AI generated content
Drafts are produced by an AI model and can be wrong, generic, or a bad fit for your voice. They are a starting point, not a finished post. You own what you publish and you carry the responsibility for it. Do not treat model output as fact without checking it.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use MomentX to:
- publish content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, or deceptive
- impersonate another person or account
- run engagement pods, spam replies, or bulk automated behaviour on X
- resell, scrape, or redistribute the service or its output as your own product
- attempt to bypass credit limits, rate limits, or access other users' data
We can suspend or close an account that does any of the above.
Availability
We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted. Parts of it depend on third parties, including X, and on data we collect by reading public pages. If X changes how it works, some features may stop working until we adapt.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, MomentX is provided as is, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost followers, account suspensions on X, or indirect damages.
Changes and closing your account
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will tell you by email before it takes effect. You can close your account at any time by emailing hola@momentx.pro. We delete everything, no questions asked, as described in the privacy policy below.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's country of residence. If a dispute cannot be resolved by writing to us first, it goes to the courts with jurisdiction there.
Privacy Policy
Short version: we collect what we need to analyze your X account and bill you, we do not sell it, and one email to hola@momentx.pro deletes all of it, no questions asked.
What we collect
| Data | Where it comes from | Why |
|---|---|---|
| X handle, display name, avatar, account id | X OAuth when you sign in | To identify your account and know which profile to analyze |
| Email address | X, if it shares it, otherwise at checkout | Account recovery, receipts, and service notices |
| Your public posts and their public metrics | Read from your public X profile | To build your voice profile and your analytics |
| Public posts from other accounts in your niches | Read from public X pages | To build the reply queue and the inspiration feed |
| Your quiz answers, drafts, and scheduled posts | You, in the product | To personalize what the product gives you |
| Usage events and a random browser id | Your browser | To see where people get stuck in signup and fix it |
| Up to 50 posts from your home timeline, at a time (both For You and Following) | Our Chrome extension, if you install it, reading what X already sent to your browser | To build your reply queue from the feed you actually see. The post itself is deleted when you deal with it: when you skip it, when you send a reply to it from your deck, or when a draft written inside x.com lands in X's own box. Its id is kept afterwards so the same post is never handed to you twice: for 7 days in MomentX's own ledger, and in your account's list of posts you have already dealt with for as long as your account is open |
| The text of a post you press reply on | Our Chrome extension, if you install it and you press Draft with AI | To write a reply to that post. It is sent to the model and never stored. This happens only when you press the button, on the post you pressed it on |
| Payment status, plan, last 4 digits of your card | Our payment processor | To know whether your subscription is active |
We never collect your X password, your direct messages, your private X analytics, or your full card number. The extension collects in three ways and no others, and you start two of them yourself. It watches your home timeline, by matching a fixed list of X's own timeline requests and discarding everything else inside your browser before anything is sent anywhere. And when you press Draft with AI on a post, it reads that post, wherever on X you pressed it, because the model needs something to answer. And when you press Read my followers or Read who I follow, it opens that list of yours in a small window, scrolls it so x.com serves the whole thing, and uploads it to your account on our server: each person's handle, display name, profile photo, X account id, whether they are verified and which way the follow goes. We keep it because that is the feature you are paying for: comparing one reading with the next is the only way to tell you who stopped following you, and keeping it on our server is what makes it survive clearing your browser or changing computers. It is used to run your own account and nothing else: to sort your audience, to work out who left, and to tell you what is worth your time. It is never sold, never shown to another customer, never crossed with anybody else's lists, and it is deleted whenever you ask. Nothing else is read: no post you merely scroll past outside your timeline, no profile you only visit, no search you only run, and no list you did not ask for. Posts from protected accounts are dropped before they leave your browser, on both of the paths that leave it.
One thing the extension keeps on your device only and never uploads: where you dragged the button. Three things reach us: your timeline posts, capped at 50 at a time; the text of a post you asked for a draft on; and the followers or following list you asked it to read. Your browser also keeps a copy of that list so the Follows tab is instant, but the copy on our server is the one that survives and the one that makes “who stopped following you” possible at all. All three are yours alone: no other customer can see them, your lists are never crossed with anybody else's, and none of it goes into the shared niche feed.
The extension never posts, replies or likes by itself, and it never follows anybody for you. It writes a draft and puts it in X's box; pressing send is always your hand. In the Follows tab, Follow back opens X's own follow box for that one person, and your click there is what follows them. We never send a follow ourselves, and there is no way to follow in bulk.
There is one action the extension sends itself, and it deserves to be said plainly: next to each account you follow there is an Unfollow button, and pressing it makes the extension ask X to unfollow that account, using the session you are already signed in with. It does not go through X's own screens, so X will not ask you to confirm. The button is the confirmation. It always takes your click, it acts on that one account, and there is no way to unfollow in bulk.
MomentX's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Who we share it with
We rely on a few trusted third-party providers to run MomentX: cloud hosting and database, payment processing, and the AI model that writes drafts. Each one receives only the data it needs to do its job, and only to provide the service to you. When you ask for a draft, the relevant text is sent to our AI provider, so do not put anything confidential into the composer. We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising.
Where it is stored
On cloud infrastructure in the United States. That includes the followers and following lists you ask the extension to read, and therefore the handles, names, photos and X account ids of the people in them. If you are in the EEA or the UK, that is a transfer outside your region, handled under standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Account and content data: while your account is open.
- After you ask us to delete your account: removed within 30 days, except what we must keep for accounting and tax, which is invoices.
- Your followers and following lists: each person's row stays until a complete reading of that same list no longer finds them, and it is refreshed on every reading. If you never read that list again, the rows stay as they are while your account is open. There is no time limit on them today.
- People who stopped following you: kept so we can show them to you, and removed only if that person follows you again, or when your account is deleted. No time limit on them today either.
- Usage events: 12 months.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted. Write to hola@momentx.pro and we delete everything, no questions asked. We answer within 30 days and usually the same day. Email is the only way to do this today: there is no delete or export button in the product or in the extension, and we run the deletion by hand. Uninstalling the extension removes nothing from our server: your lists and the record of who stopped following you stay in your account until you ask us, or until the account goes.
And if you are not a customer of ours but someone who follows, or used to follow, one: your handle, display name, profile photo and X account id may be stored in their account here. You never agreed to this page and you have the same rights over that data. Write to hola@momentx.pro with your X handle and we will tell you what is stored and remove it.
If you are in the EEA or the UK you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Cookies and local storage
We do not use advertising or third party tracking cookies. We do use your browser's local storage for two things: keeping you signed in, and a random id that lets us count how many people reach each step of signup. That id is not linked to your name and is not shared.
Children
MomentX is not for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Contact
Questions about your data, or anything else, go to hola@momentx.pro. We answer within 30 days. For anything quicker, we are on X as @_MomentX_. Those two are the only channels we use: nobody from MomentX will ever DM you first asking for a password, a payment or a code.
